About Us

The “Beijing Guochaosiyuan International Medical Exchange” was founded by Chinese and European medical professionals in 2003, In 2007, “Focus Century International Medical Exchange” becomes the new official name.

The Program Board Membes arer: Prof. Paul Vogt; Dr. Klaus Schlotterbeck; Dr. Katherine Shi and Prof. Qi-run Cheng.

The aim of the exchange is to improve the clinical skills of Chinese doctors, this involves a group of well-known European doctors visiting Chinese hospitals for outstanding scientific presentations and live surgery demonstrations.

This clinical education covers cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardiology, imaging diagnosis, ICU, related circulation and anesthesia. The scientific activities have involved 22 hospitals within 12 Chinese provinces.

Because of the great contribution to Chinese clinical education, the approval and support of “China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs" has been official since the end of 2006.  

This medical exchange program now includes oversea training project, which enable Chinese doctors to be trained in well-known European hospitals，the training project will commence in Jan 2009, we will continue to lead the development of China and Europe clinical exchange program.
